The noise of confusion and terra made a shiver run down my spine and ears prick… A scuttle from under the kitchen table made me exited I flung my body onto a small mouse, getting up finding that I’d squashed it flat. Padding outside I saw my master measuring the disdent between the house and the tree “Happy Birthday Cat” she said and led me into the hall. Robert Watching the neighbours sip their tea I scoffed another jammy dodger from the willow pattern plate in the middle of the oval shaped coffee table next to us. Happily away from my boring job at the bank I stared at the empty beach with the waves smashing against the nearby cliffs. The house had a old fashion feel with the dusty antiques begging to be cleaned and the kettle heating on the stove. Needing to leave to make dinner I thanked my neighbours for the tea and biscuits I set off on my short journey home. Daisy Life is good when your beside the sea. As the sky was pink, the sea glimmered in the reflection of the bright evening sun. As my dog an I walked across the soaking sand, what more could you want from an evening walk. Hanging my coat up ready for hosing the dog of from wet sand and sea water, it was not the best smell. Locking the dog outside to dry, he didn’t mind one bit because he was to busy playing with his bone. There are some more Lyme Regis photos in 'Lyme Regis' on the menu tab. There is also a list of the class awards from the trip at the bottom of the photos. Enjoy!
"What wonderful children."
"So polite." "I've never seen such well behaved children." Just a few of the comments from the public who encountered Orange Class at Lyme Regis. All Orange Class parents should be extremely proud, as we were, of your children. We could not have asked for any better behaviour, even though a bit more sleep may have been nice! Well done Orange Class you were truly amazing and such fun to be with. A BIG thank you from, Mr Pett, Mrs Wallace, Mrs Byard and Mrs Barker |
